Director sportif services provide discrete or end-to-end race management and tactical leadership for teams and athletes at regional, national, and international events. The scope of each project varies and would be delineated in initial conversations. The focus is on turning a group of riders into a coordinated squad with clear roles, a coherent plan, and smooth logistics from travel to finish line. Duties may include the following:
Core responsibilities
Pre-race planning, including route analysis, race objectives, rider roles (leader, support, sprinter, climber, etc.), and tactical scenarios for different race situations.
On-site race direction: team meetings, briefing and debriefing riders, in-race tactical calls, and ongoing communication and support from the team car where permitted.
Coordination with event organizers and officials regarding registrations, rules, schedules, and any last-minute changes.
Logistics and organization 
Managing logistics such as travel schedules, lodging, meals, accreditation, and race-day timing for recon, warm-up, and staging.
Oversight of equipment preparation and support: spare bikes and wheels, mechanical coordination, race nutrition, and vehicle packing and organization.
Acting as the central point of contact for riders, staff, and families, ensuring that athletes can focus on performance while the operational and organizational details are handled professionally
